You share the full story, about the development, chronological order of events, the family, the setting, the routine, traumas, separations, and more. Welcome! I am Netta Ivtzan and I am a certified parent coach, attachment based developmental approach. In addition, I am an art psychotherapist for children. And I conduct art and mindfulness workshops. I accompany parents through observation of physiological and emotional development, appropriate to age and cognitive maturity, with a strong emphasis on the connection between parents and child. I am married to Itay and have three children. Today we live in Austin, Texas, before that we lived as a family (including the dog!) in a year-long relocation in Thailand, and before that we lived in Israel, Colorado and England. I have rich experience of relocation and treatment of Israeli families in Israel and around the world. The goal is to see deeply the root of the difficulty and not just what to do when a specific behavior of our child makes us feel a lack of control and helplessness. It is so important to know how to get help, especially as parents. It is truly impossible to get through parenting alone. It is good that you are seeking parental guidance. Parenting is hard and we all need and need help and support from time to time where we feel difficulty. How do I express authority without creating distance in a relationship? How do I understand what they feel when there is no developed verbal ability? How do I set boundaries? How do I find more time to strengthen the relationship? Why do they behave like this? What is going on!? Today's life forces us to deal with challenges that go against our nature, such as screens, long days in settings and at work, often inside an air-conditioned building, with very little opportunity to move the body and expend energy. Not to mention the enormous amounts of trauma, panic and fear of everything that has been happening around us for many years as a people. And there is also more alone. Alone in our parenting, where is the tribe? Alone in front of a screen, both for us and for the children, alone also because many of us work most of our children's waking hours. And so I think we all, as parents and educators, need support, guidance and reminders of how to be there for our children, and how to support them, when difficulty comes.
